im trying to find a plugin or maybe a resource extractor to extract all emoticons (gifs too) from windows live messenger
also trying to get the spaces icons

ive already tried a few extractor programs and was able to get some icons but not the emoticons

i see these forums use msn emoticons and also found other msn emoticon packs online but im trying to get the latest and best from wlm

maybe it was possible before to get them but now its not?

does anyone have any ideas how?

I wouldn't call this a feature of Plus!, but it does, in a way, do this. If you have the chat logging feature enabled, Plus! saves any and every emoticon used in conversations. You can enable this feature and go to the folder for the current month and go to the images directory. However, I'm not sure if it saves the animated ones .

They are saved, but not animated.

Why cant you save the ones that are here, the emoticons have been the same for a long time. There are 2 new ones, but just do What RebelSean said if you want them.

You gave the answer yourself: "a resource extractor"....

So... Go to the magic website http://www.google.com/ and enter "resource extractor" et voila, you have what you want...

They're actually changed slightly (not really noticeably) in each version; there's been a bunch of changes since these forums' emoticons. For example, look at the party emoticon...
