O.P. Poll "Bumped" when Voting
(This is referring to the Poll Centre, and not necessarily anywhere else)
I go to the end pages, and I find the Milkshake Poll (tid=55281). I want other people to see this poll too, and yet not double-post.
Perhaps I can vote, and it is bumped up to the front, as if it was a post in the regular forums?

RE: Poll "Bumped" when Voting
I don't think it can be done, but its a good idea.
Edit: What I meant with it can't be done is that it shouldn't be done, or as you said it would be impractical. Even though it is a good idea, having threads bumped for every vote would be rather annoying.

RE: Poll "Bumped" when Voting
how can it not be done? it just wouldnt be practical if people find really old polls and vote on them. if anything, it should be every 5th vote bumps it up.

But as mentioned earlier, what if I'm the only one even bothering to vote in the Milkshake Poll?
No poll is old if its good (and that the poster updates it) if the ways listed here are put in place.

RE: Poll "Bumped" when Voting
But then polls would get on the top of latest posts page every time someone votes. This would create unnecessary Polls coming up on the latest posts and the normal threads to go down . But if updating on the latestvotes.php doesn't effect latest posts page, i won't mind it, even though i may not use it .
Remember: There can be Polls in other categories too execpt Poll Center.

no it would be a completely different page
I like the idea of latestvotes.php... but also the idea of every fifth... Cause it would be nice to have these older polls that nobody sees come up once in a while.

It should get bumped if it's in the Poll Centre.

RE: Poll "Bumped" when Voting
I think it would be OK if the thread was bumped on the forumdisplay page but not on the Latest Posts page. However, both pages use the same sorting method, so I dunno how I'd make them behave differently...
