When i try and make a External Email Account I cant get it to work? Am i doing somthing wrong? Can someone give me some rough guide-lines of what to do to get it set up? Please?

You can set Plus! to check an existing (Plus! doesn't create accounts) external email account for you (Plus > Preferences > General > E-mail accounts). This account needs to support POP3. In order to find out if you email account does that have a look in the settings/help section of that account. You will find all info you need to fill in inthere (servername, port, etc.).

I have Hotmail, so will i be able to find my POP3?

Unless you have Hotmail plus (payed version) then no, you can't set Plus! to check them for you. There's no pop3 support on free hotmail accounts.
