Everytime I click on a group to view my contacts it comes up with the Edit Group window thingy my whole WLM freezes and doesn't unfreze no matter what I try so I have to go through the whole Ctrl+Alt+Del and end process Is there anyway I can stop this edit group window coming up ?

That dialog is fine for me.

What add-ons/scripts are you running?

Update: It happens to me too, with the group named '8. Messenger Plus! Forum Contacts'. I'm running 8.1, but I'll also try with 8.0 (I have both installed).

Tested with 8.0: dialog is fine.

Conclusion: It's a bug in 8.1.

I have noticed this bug before, but for me it only happens with one group (named "Messenger Plus! Forum" which leads me to believe its something to do with the ! in the group name, will test further).

EDIT: nothing to do with the ! in the group name.

I had that problem too. It was a bit different though. Evertime I tried to create a new group or modify an existant my WLM blocked and I was unable to close. The only way was the Ctrl+Alt+Del like you said.

I search for my posts/thread I made to look for an answer to your problem.

BTW, I see you use 8.1. Have you tried uninstall this version and work with 8.0? Is the problem still there?


Edit: I just searched through all my posts I made but didn't find anything. I start to believe that I mad ethat thread in T&T . I'm sorry. Maybe you could try 8.0 and hope it gets better then .

It happens to me quite a bit... I don't actually use the edit group window... but everytime I look to see who's online I click on the group name... then sometimes I click it again too fast and it'll consider it a double click and it'll come up... takes about a minute then it all works fine.

this happened to me too. i think im gonna depromote it to 8.0
