O.P. Messenger Plus! Logging Error

Windows XP Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600)
Windows Live Messenger 8.00.0812
Messenger Plus! Live 4.11.0.254

As of lately I haven't been able to open any of my log files, though I know the password.

When I try to un-encrypt the log files I am prompted with this error:

Anybody know of any causes and/or solutions?

Can you still get to the encrypted logs in explorer? Open the logs and open them in notepad or something?

Mhmm.

I can open them in Notepad but of course they are encrypted so they don't make any sense.

I just tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling MP! and the same problem occurs. Any other suggestions?

sounds like a windows cryptography error and patchou's just trying at the top and catching at the bottom as per usual (l)

I just installed Windows Vista Ultimate and I can decrypt them now, so problem solved.
