O.P. 8.1 Asterisk "bug"
I've noticed that on WLM 8.1 (as oppose to 8.0) there is a strange emoticon occurrence.....i use an asterisk to correct a spelling mistake, for example:

Danny: Can you give me some hlep
Danny: *help

However, with this above example (as well as a few others), the text is replaced with a built in emoticion (100% not a custom one) which is the word "i'm" written in green with a blue apostrophe.

It is definitely a build in emoticon as it happens when ppl on both 8.0 and 8.1 send me such text.....and it happens when i send people it on 8.1, but not if they're using 8.0.

It also happens with:

*one
*unicef

those, along with *help, are the only ones i've discovered so far.

I can't seem to stop it from happening either (because it's not a custom emoticon so it can't be removed)

any ideas firstly as to why on earth this has been implemented with such random text combinations and a random image, and not listed in the emoticon panel or on how to stop it?

Cheers

This is not a bug but these are rather secret emoticons. Click here to find out more about it :).

Just use Plus!'s /noicon command to get over it :).
