O.P. School Project..
Hey guys, for a school project i got ages ago bt forgot bout i have to build a boat, but im not sure what material to use for the hull and things, anyone want to help me out here?  thanks.

Foam floats for sure. How much weight it can take is a different matter

Eh well simply, i need the hull, painted, the mast, sails etc, or if its a speed boat style yeh.

Just use a plastic or styrofoam fast-food container, with some play-dough to attach two paddlepop stick (icecream sticks) masts to the boat with a piece of paper between the two sticks for a sail

Lol it only has to float to pass, i could get a friggen cork and stick a twig in it and say its a boat, but i want a half decent one atleast, someone recommended "Balsa" your thoughts?

balsa wood is really easy to work with, and is really buoyant
I remember that one of my friends had to make a boat that had to hold a person before. The only allowable materials were cardboard and duct tape
