Eheh...No it's not the same...Uploading pe files could be dangerous,But zipping and unploading them is secure:

You can't upload pe files because of the potential security risks of msghelp.Such files can contain virii and other malicious software.Instead if you upload zipped pe files it's secure,because a zip/rar file can't be executed on the server thus is much less of a risk to msghelp.

msimg32.dll isn't a hidden file and I've verified it on all 3 of my XP machines with different configurations. 2 without showing hidden files and one (my computer) that does...and on all of them, it's not a hidden files (checked file attributes)

You're right, I'm sorry. I think it used to be. Anyway, that could be a reason why he couldn't see it.

well i added the msning32.dl and that didnt work... redownloaded it from the url but still no success.... if you here of anything else that might be the problem plz let me know.. thx
