Hi...
anyone can help me to remove this script? I already try to remove from preferences but still can't work....
fyi, i'm using windows live messenger 8.01.078, messenger plus live 4.20.0262

well you can try going to

C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Scripts

then deleting the folder which has the scriptname

if this doesnt work: can you please name the script you are trying to delete.

edit: it would be better if messenger wasnt running while you did this.. (so make sure msnmsgr.exe isnt running [go on task manager] )

This doesn't remove the script! There's still registry stuff and things left over.

see CookieRevised's reply to Uninstalling scripts.... for the proper and complete way to remove scripts.


The Special Symbols script can be removed by simply using the default method:
Plus! > Preferences > General > Scripts > select Special Symbols script > Remove.

There is no reason why this shouldn't work. If it still doesn't work then please state in detail what the error is you got and what you exactly did.
