Ok so i made it's body today, completely scrapped all my research with different covering materials as they all have their pros and cons, so i bit the bullet and just moulded the clay around the skeleton and it actually works really well...
Around the thin leg bits i applied some packing foam/polystyrene/sheet stuff and a piece of selotape
The body is a cork cut and angled, wrapped with the same packing sheet and taped around the skeleton
The head is not connected and i feel i might remove the armature's own head or neck and try my luck.
I've gone against creative my own bricks and stuff as it took too long and too many split and broken failed attempts, I'll just take a photo and print off sheet after sheet of bricks.

P.s. those are the tie down screws by the way, which is what I'll use to secure my model through the floor of my set.... when i build it
