uhh.. i just did what some other person replied to do..
go to:
Start,
Run,
& type
%userprofile%\contacts
then, if no folders show,
go to tools.
folder options
''show hidden files or folders''
then find your email adress, and delete that folder.
THEN,
go to
Start,
Run,
and type
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts
&& delete your folder again.
then restart messenger
and sign in.
^^ it worked for me.
