I'm pretty sure this is Messenger Plus Live related, whenever i close a conversation, a conversation re-opens with a previous contact for a brief amount of time, not a huge bug, just a little strange

Hm...never experienced this before.

What version of Messenger Plus! Live & Windows Live Messenger are you using? And do you have any other plugins, addons, patches and/or scripts installed?

All latest, using Windows Vista also ermm, i have some scripts but none that effect chats n stuff.

It may be helpful to mention the scripts. Maybe the scripts could be causing it.

When you say 'pretty sure' have you tried uninstalling MP!L to see if it still happens? - Just to clarify whether it is MP or not.

Mine does this but only in tab chattting. If you turn it off, it doesn't do it.
