Hi, all,

I am using Windows Live messenger ver. 8.1 and Messenger Plus! ver. 4.20.0.262 - both with HEBREW Interface.

Everything works fine BUT... when I Block one of my Floating Contacts - his Icon gets the NO PARKING sign (as expected) but his Icon STAYS ALWAYS GREEN as if he is On-Line although he is not.

When I cancel remove the Block - his Icon color acts as expected.
(Gray for Off-Line / Green for On-Line)

What can be done for the correct color to be displayed even if he is Blocked !?

Yes, I noticed this too, and I'd say it is a bug.


The contact is offline and blocked, however it shows as online and blocked (green buddy with blocked sign) on the desktop.

Well, I assume it is a Bug.

As you are a Senior memebr maybe you can find a way to notify the Messenger Plus! Technical Support team and/or directly the Programmers Dept. in order for them to fix it on their next apdae !?

There's only one programmer that makes Plus! and that's Patchou and he reads the bug reports on these forums, so soon he will find this post and he will respond/not respond, but he will get to know about this bug.

By the way, Patchou,

If it is not too difficult - please try to enable displaying the Nick Name I(!) have chosen (for my floating contacts), in the Changing Status Pop-up window, whenever theychange status, instead of the name THEY have chosen (the present situation).

If my request is not clear enough please let me know.
