I am having long video-chats with my girlfriend in full-screen mode. Sometimes the video-chat stops but my girlfriend says that my status remains "busy". I do not know why the status does not go back to "online". ANyone has experienced something like this before?
I have messenger 8.1 and messenger plus live. Windows XP.

I don't believe Messenger is designed to change your status back. You may want to wait until someone confirms this .

I should say that the The video-chat "crashes" instead of stop.

Busy status shows automatically when I move to full-screen. If I stop the full-screen view, my status switches from busy to online automatically. This does not happen if the video-chat crashes for unknown reasons.
