I dont know why, everything is allowed and all but it just wont update Its AVG  Internet Security 2007 and it just aint wrkn

Did you purchase a license for it?

What is the specific error you seem to get?

It goes through the update bit where it asks you whether to update or cancel, closes connection and then it just stops at attempting to connect, im not sure of exact, i think im gonna move to Avast

To late, considering the crap my pc has been givin me lately i've moved over to Avast on a temporary basis, my dad has norton but personally i hate it.

Check your firewall, it may be blocking AVG from connecting to the Internet .

I checked that numerous times, it was always allowed.

Uninstall it and install it again, but to be honest I hate it.

I am still in love with my Norton even though it is said that it slows down PCs. That's no problem for me because I can't see the difference. I once tried the AVG and MY GOD! it caused a BIG accident...(crash)
