of course, I indicated before to MSN the first name and the name of the contact...

The MsgPlus scripting engine doesn't have this functionality. I suppose there is a possibility that it may be added in by Patchou at a later date (if possible) but I don't think it will as hardly any scripts would require this function...

I think it's useful to replace nickname or email which i don't know with name who is more explicit . Script can also access to birthday date..

Birth date is not used in Messenger at all, adding an event for it would be breaking the law (it's personal data) .

Birth Date is already into Windows Live Contacts....
Script can use this information to remind us the birthday of our contacts instead of to use an external file

The problem is that with the current scripting engine, we can't interact with those sources. I agree, it'd be much more interesting for people to place all information about a contact in Messenger and let a script use that information, but unfortunately this isn't possible (yet?).

Some users may not be botherd with that either... it would need to be a general consensus
