Does anyone know a script or a way that you can have chat logs saved on messenger plus! Live the same basic way they were saved on the original Messenger Plus? Basically in Microsoft Notepad form? With no emoticons or havting to sign up to the internet in order to read them.

Or perhaps a script that saves them as both?

Save them as Plain Text Files.

You can change this by going to the Preferences window choosing the Conversations tab then the Chat Loggin sub-tab and choosing "Save as Plain Text Files" at the Save Options.

Also with the HTML chat logs you don't need any internet access, it just shows them in your browser because they are HTML files, but the internet is not accessed when opening them.
