Hi i have just downloaded messenger plus live but i downloaded it for the first time last night but when i came on this morning it wasn't there i just got the original windows live messenger. i have just downloaded it again but still all the icons etc are for windows live messenger and nothing for the new one i can see it in the control panel and i keep getting pop ups all the time now so can anyone help and tell me whats going on??
You need to re-install Messenger Plus! Live. The new beta builds installs in a new directory (Program Files/Windows Live/Messenger) and this is where Plus! now installs itself. If you downgrade, Plus! is not present in the old directory and therefore cannot hook onto Messenger .
