i know what you mean, i saw on the tv, one couple had had their home flodding 4times in 3 years now thats gunna cost you in insurance!

Some people we know had a house that was flooded because their house was sort of lower than then the rest of the street.

Their insurance now costs loads and their house is basically unsellable, they've turned the whole bottom floor into a massive garage and built an extra floor in order to make increase the house's value.

well, whatever works! we live on the top of a massive hill so we're usually ok for flooding. and they just unblocked most of the drains too =p its stopped raining now pretty much so all the flood water will be going away now.
