    I had all of the features yesterday and they are gone today.

    I have had this issue before and the uninstall corrected the problem but this time I get no features back and yes... after uninstalling I did delete the C:/Program Files/MSN Messenger file before reinstalling.  The programs both appear in my control panel add / remove programs so I know they were installed completely but its like the plus isn't active because I don't even get the Plus menus on Messenger.

Any ideas?  My daughter desperately wants the events logging feature so she can see who she's missed while away.



Please make a thread about your issue on "MP!L Help and Support" forum. I'm sure someone will help you there..

OK a few things:

1) What anti-virus and firewall programs are you using?

2) Although you have said that you deleted the MSN Messenger Folder, did you also delete the Messenger Plus! Live folder?

Did you downgrade from Windows Live Messenger 8.5 to 8.1? If that is the case Plus! is looking to hook onto Messenger in the wrong location, try re-installing Messenger Plus! Live to fix the issue .

I use Norton antivirus and mozilla FireFox - and yes I uninstalled EVERYTHING that said messenger
