now you are making sense.
it could be any of the F# keys (unless it says press <del> to go into bios)
if it is <del>, then try tapping it continuously at bootup just in case your timing wasnt correct.

lrac522: you need a PS/2 keyboard. however, once you're in to the bios options, you should see something to the effect of "legacy USB support." enable this to let you use usb keyboards in the future. Spoiler: the game.

2 options: get a ps2 keyboard, or switch the bios reset jumper

Woudn't be able to do any of your suggestions, reason, as I stated at first, both USB keyboard and mouse do not load until windows starts. |

yes, but with most MoBo's, the checksum for the bios settings will be noticed to be different, and the config page opened by default.
I guess it won't help if your kb is still not working after that
