OMG! Surprisingly this machine does not support ps2, it's one of those BIG UGLY jack with jumbo pins (from great nan days) and there is no keyboard for that. This machine is owned by a friend of mine. (don't want you to think it's mine)

Yes the PCI USB card was installed after that BIG PIN keyboard was damaged in order to use a USB keyboard

RE: Getting in Bios Settings
you could always try unplugging the hard drive to get it to boot to the cd, then plugging it back in as soon as the CD starts.. note that that isn't recommended at all, and can damage your hard drive also, if you do it, make sure you use the data cable, not the power cable

RE: Getting in Bios Settings
Pretty sure you can get DIN - PS2 connectors. I bet you could do some crazy DIN - PS2 - USB chain.
was put impeccably into words at DebianDay for me last Saturday, by Knut Yrvin of Trolltech - adults try something once, fail, and then are like "ffs this doesn't work". Children try, fail, and then try again, and succeed - maybe on the second, or even fifth retry. But the thing is that they keep at it and overcome the problems in the end.

RE: Getting in Bios Settings
Can't you install something like Acronis Boot Manager into the MBR of the Hard Drive? I'm sure that allows you to boot to the CD, from the HD bootup sequence.
Or, Ranish Partition Manager allows you to boot to a floppy disc, and I know you can use a floppy to boot to a CD rom
