Does anyone else get the problem of the text size reverting to a standard size rather than small after setting it, chattin with someone a while and close it to find it resets when talkin to someone new.

hope you get what i meant...

Im using Windows Live Messenger 8.5.1238.0601
Running on Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit.

Zomg, YES, I also get this problem!!! It's the most annoying thing ever, and the reason I came on this forum. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one! I'd love to hear a solution to this if anyone knows one. D,:
It may seem silly, but it's just an eyesore, and irritating to correct for each window I open or reopen. I've even gone into settings and corrected the font size from there, and it reverts back the moment I open a new window.  I went into my appearance settings for my computer, and none of the font sizes go over 8, though I'm not sure if that'd effect it anyhow. On my other IMs, the font size doesn't do this, so I'm figuring it is WML...
I just hope there's a fix for it.

The only way to change the text size is to go tools.. Follow the red circles for directions.

Btw, it's not a bug.

Edit:
Note: that's the only way to set the text size, apparently imo, the font size is of no use. No idea why the messenger team put it.

I had this issue sometime before, what I did was close all my chats, opened up a chat and set the text font size i wanted, then closed the chat and signed out of messenger. I then restarted messenger and signed it, problem didnt come back :)

Aah, thank you so much!!! I didn't even notice that in the tools menu...  It really is useless. Finally, I won't need to look at ugly bold text anymore. <3 I'm happy you pointed it out.
