Why on Live Messenger version of MSN stay contact files stored in Microsoft Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\contacts\account_name, I dont want that on shared computer on job or to the friend and why instal share folder on My computer which one you can't delete.

Does anyone know how to solve this???

You can disable Sharing Folders in Windows Live Messenger by going to Tools > Options > Sharing Folders and untick the box. You can also delete the shortcut from My Documents.

Contacts are saved, but hidden. If you don't want these files to be shown, In Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > View > Tick 'Do not show hidden files and folders'.
