heyya i checked the search and there was no thread like this soo here goes:

I LOCKED MY MESSENGER PLUS! LIVE THROUGH THE PREFERENCES> LOCK
FEATURE

I READ SOME STICKIES( I 4GOT WHERE THEY WERE ) BUT THEY TOTALLY DID NOT HELP

PLEASE TELL ME ONE, JUST ONE BEST WAY TO UNLOCK MY MESSENEGR PLUS! LIVE OR TELL ME (IF IT'S HIDDEN SOMEWHERE) WHERE TO FIND IT

MY WLM SIGNING IN ICON HAS AN ANNOYING BLACK BACKGROUND!
AND ALMOST ALL MY EMOTICONS, IMAGES , ETC... HAVE REALLY ANNOYING BLACK BACKGROUNDS...
I HATE MYSELF FOR LOCKING PLUS!(ACCIDENTS HAPPEN)

I AM USING WINDOWS XP
I AM USING WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER VERSION 8.0
I WAS USING MESSENGER PLUS! LIVE VERSION 4.23.276

I HOPE THIS DISCRIPTION IS DETAILED ENOUGH TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

Hold alt, ctrl, delete. Find wlm, click "end process", get back into messenger and bam. Next time remember the password.

When you locked messenger, you need to type in a password to unlock it.

i can use my WLM...just without plus!

If you turned on that lock feature on plus! your WLM would be locked...

yep


i'm using WLM now
but... i don't have plus! cause i locked it through preferences lock feature...

ah, well do you know the password? because i dont think you can get back into it without that... you might need to do registry stuff but i wouldnt try that as that can fuck everything up
