Troll, much?
What does it mean these days, anyway, "PC/Mac"? Are we talking about operating system? Are we talking about hardware? Are we talking about companies?
If we are talking about operating system, there are several operating systems for x86 hardware. Windows is popular, but OS X runs on it fine, and there is GNU and a variety of free or commercial Unixen.
If we are talking about hardware, remember modern Macintoshes are x86 based, and save for a few niceties are essentially the same as "PC's".
If we are talking about companies, the question of what "PC" means is drawn further into view. There is no one company that supplies any one part.
edit: splelling
was put impeccably into words at DebianDay for me last Saturday, by Knut Yrvin of Trolltech - adults try something once, fail, and then are like "ffs this doesn't work". Children try, fail, and then try again, and succeed - maybe on the second, or even fifth retry. But the thing is that they keep at it and overcome the problems in the end.
