If that option is added despite my dislike to it(for more info read The new option in Contact List Clean-Up window), I believe it will make everthing more difficult due to the contacts who we don't have.

warmth, your third reasoning is not valid because that contact is not in your contact list, so Plus! can't know his status. So what will Plus! show for them while displaying others' statuses? There must be a special buddy that doesn't exist in normal Messenger. And that special buddy which noone knows will confuse people's minds.

The normal online buddy with a question mark or the blocked buddy would be fine.

I am suprised today when I saw the two features you suggested exist on Messenger Plus! 3. Contact List Clean-Up wizard shows the statuses of contacts, and you can send your Plugins' version with a special tag (!PVER) to any contact in a chat window (then you will have to copy them from the chat box in order to use in the forums), also there is a (!VER) tag which you can send Windows', Messenger's and MsgPlus!'s version numbers. I wonder why anyone didn't point out this before.

Did you know it before suggesting them?

I highly agree with the (!PVER) idea, though I do believe it should just be in (!VER) so that it is easier for people to get all the information at once when reporting bugs on the forum.

After looking at the picture of the windows again it makes me wish I was a tester to be able to use that debugger, it would save me so much time looking for the lines, especially when I change the .js file and forget to click in the text box before scrolling

Anyway, I'm sure we'll have a really good quality product coming our way really soon, but some of these little ideas would be really nice too.  If Patchou doesn't do something about listing scripts and their versions then I might try to write a script to do it....

We need to make it so that the textbox gets focus when the file is changed. I hate it when that happens

Windows Live Messenger 8.5 final release is out... and MP!L 4.5 is coming... this will be a very good christmas for messenger lovers!!!

UPDATE: UNICODE contact list display name problems are still in the final release of messenger I'm not so happy anymore...
