With msn 8.1 in windows vista,and when i send a default sound it gets corrupeted.I had to do a hard reboot(*my computer does not have a reset button;my computer is a laptop and I have to hold down the power button until the screen dissapears and press it again).Right now,I had to uninstall Plus!.And now, using msn 8.5 beta.

Does using 8.5 FINAL solve the problem?

8.5 Final? I tought that I was using 8.5 Beta.
Anyway, the problem has been solved earlier this year.

8.5 FINAL is out now So the problem has being solved?

Now, using messenger 8.5 final on vista and now the topic is called "WinVista+msn 8.5=sound corrupt". it means when I use 8.5 final, the same problem happened. Can you help me? please???????

So.. This is a messenger issue not a Messenger Plus issue?

have you tried updating/re-installing sound card/chipset drivers?

What gets corrupted, and how? if the sound is played all stuttery/crackly that would make me think a soundcard/chipset driver issue
