To me it looks like water with bubbles in it, however good work. People seem to like the cartoon-ish style of nowadays logos.

Like the header, would be good to have snow clumped over the negative  space at the top of the blue Community Forums bar, moving personal message events down to the same level as the rest of the text

I like the idea of sticking with the current light blueish header and not the darker blue one from last year, as the current header blends in perfectly with the forum style.

But I wouldn't even flip the clouds to the top, I would suggest something similar to this:

Nathan: I don't like how yours is so 'defined', it just stops, whereas the current one blends into the white of the background, like andrey's does too.
