doubtful, just a still image.

Probly make it so it just displays the msn piccy instead...

it does support gif animations - there are even a few included in the install package. They must be smaller than 200 kb to work however and are only viewable by other beta testers. Those who are not beta testers only see the first frame of the animation - and NO, there is no slowdown at all
