Hi guys,

I know that the custom nicknames feature is not included anymore in MsgPlus! Live because it's now supported by WLM himself. But it isn't possible at all to use those custom nicknames in event notifications and in Plus! tabs?

I would like to have a little bit of consistence in this part...

If it's not possible actually in Plus!, why Patchou doesn't integrate this? What is his policy about that?

Rename Contact feature - Gone?

I know it is a hell of a lot to read, but If you read the entire thread I hope most of your questions (if not all) in regards to this will be answered.

I've read this topic but it entirely talks about the whole renaming feature. And I'm just talking about notifications and tabs. Yes I know the Plus! feature was removed and yes I know Patchou will put it again if Microsoft doesn't move his ass, but it's too difficult to pick the WLM custom nicknames and apply them to the notifications/tabs? Is it a technical difficulty?

That's my only question and I can't find the answer in this topic (but maybe are you asking me to post overthere? )

Yes it is a technical difficulty, it is not possible at this time for Plus! to get the nicknames set by the user.

Patchou also said that he is going to add the feature back if you actually read all of the thread
