To be quite honest, I think Christmas is absolutely ridiculous nowadays. It's ALL about the presents for a lot of people, if you don't get a Wii or an Xbox, or at least £500 spent on you, it's a waste. If you can't think of anything you want, maybe you should just be content with what you have, instead of searching around for £100's worth of presents. Isn't the spirit of Christmas in giving, not receiving? Sure, it's really nice to receive presents, but I'd rather have nothing at all and know I was loved, healthy and happy, than get a Wii, and Xbox, and a PS3, knowing my parents only bought it because they feel bad for not loving me enough or whatever.
Yeah, I switched into rant mode there, but seriously, whilst it's nice to receive presents, people go overboard and want, want, want. Like I said, if you can't think of anything you want/need, you should simply be content with what you do have, or do something like Vazza suggested.
With all due respect Tasha, isn't that the same speech you give every year?

What are you asking for Christmas
Just wondering what everyone wants for Christmas cause I need some ideas.
I'm asking for Call of Duty 4, guitar hero 3 clothes and money.

Well Christmas hasn't really changed much has it..? I agree with what Tasha has said apart from the "buying presents because they feel bad"
I would be happy with just having a Christmas lunch with my family (minus my 2 older brothers). I expect no presents from my Mum as she struggles to buy presents for my little brothers as it is. Of course I will get her something nice though.

RE: Chistmas stuff
If we're asking what we're wanting for Christmas (or in my case, what I know I'm getting) then the list would be:
Nintendo DS with Brain Training + More Brain Training (because my mind is going anyway)
Torchwood 7 disc boxset
+ whatever else gets chucked in
And to be honest, this year I actually do feel bad because I know the DS stuff is about £150 and then I got £100 towards my new laptop... I mean, I've probably spent the equilviant of £150 on my family (framing this picture professional particularly fleeced me)
In saying that, I've already got my birthday next year sorted
