[font=Arial][size=1][color=red]when certain contacts are online they dont show up as online on my contact list and i cant see them or talk to them even if i double click thier offline icon it just goes staright to sending them a hotmail email message not a instant message. they can only see me and talk to me and when they do i it says that they are not on my contact list and it says "click here too add to your contacts list" and when i click it nothing happens they stay offline when they really are ONLINE.... Im so baffeld by this pleasee help me somebody...thankyou xxx

Are you sure they aren't blocking you?

Yeah Cause There Talking To Me Over MSN So They Cant Be Blocking Me And It Jus Says This Person Is Not On Your Contact List

How many contacts you got? I used to have this problem when  had 800+.

This happens on the old msn versions when you have around 1k contacts... I had the same problem...

anyway...

From 9.0 onwards this has been improved alot with the contacs having there own server to run on.

with "9.0 beta" i dont seem to have any probs now

" The deleted contacts i used to have are now back on msn and running fine "

If you have more than 800 contacts, i'm concerned for you.  You should try the "Contact List Cleanup" feature in Messenger Plus! Live and get rid of a couple hundred or thousand...Its not like you talk to them all...In all likelihood, you only talk to like, 150 people who are actually active on your buddylist...anymore is a rare exception.
