on Me Old PC i had Messenger Discovery Which some off you know is a add on which is very good BUT I got this new laptop with Vista and I downloaded it AGAIN But now i got rid off it BUT its still on my PC because when i open MSN Messenger Now nothig shows up and i get a message saying that Messenger dicovery has a error and i think i got a backdoor trojen horse i mean it was working fine on me old pc but i been loking on google and i no its fucked my Laptop up lol plus has an error ive tried evreything lol
Help sum 1 Plzzz? LMAO

@stevieboy: That happened to me too, I think re-installing WLM fixed it, but make sure that all remnants or Messenger Dicrovery Live are gone from your computer after uninstalling, but before re-installing

As said here, MSN Messenger is no longer supported. It is strongly recommended that you upgrade your Messenger to WLM 8.5 here: http://get.live.com

but my MSN is working Fine Now after A bit Off messenger Discovery Trouble with a Trojan horse backdoor! And i had it on me OLD pc and it worked fine for me its now on my Laptop on Vista And its fucked my Laptop up i think ive got the Virus i mean HOW do i Complenty get rid off it ive unistaleld but there are hiddne files how do i delete then =[

If you're 100% sure that it's a virus and you can't find a specific virus cleaner (try google) then reformatting your hard-drive and doing a clean install of windows is the only way to be totally sure that you've got rid of it all

No there must be a WAY then tht  im nt just gnaWIPE  My harddrive or wipe Vista there must be some way to get rid off it the risk level is Low for this virus And i think it would be better comming frm an IT expert LOL

Do a scan and seeif you can find a specific name of the virus. Without that, formatting your computer will probably be most people's advice to you
