One of my contact names is displaying the e-mail address instead of the name. All the others are fine. Is this a bug or something?

Has he ever actually been online at the same time as you? Has he got his name set? There are some other problems that could cause this though too

Yes and yes. Also I've checked that my contact doesn't seem to have me on his list... But I am! I am even able to speak to him, so what's going on?

Are YOU on HIS list though? You'll need to ask him for a definate answer

Problem solved! Apparently there was some sort of bug at work, because in the Contact List Clean-Up it showed that I wasn't on his list, when indeed I was. So we both deleted each other's e-mails, added them again and his name was displayed correctly.
I don't know why this happened in the first place. Maybe he's been messing around with his contacts list.
Nevertheless, it's end of story for this issue.

Or perhaps he just didn't want to tell you he deleted you and instead blamed it on some 'bug'
