Hi there i've just been downloading some skins and it seems every skin i try does not work with my messenger. Does anyone know where i can get the right skin for my version which i belive is, 4.50.0.312
When i try to select the skin it says it is not compatible with my version. Any advice?
The skin needs to be compatible with your version of Live Messenger. Most skins will be created for Windows Live Messenger 8.5, which is the latest public version of Live Messenger.
The Skin database tells which versions are supported by the skin you choose.

Just to add on to what Sunshine said, 4.50 is your version of Messenger Plus. To check your version of Windows Live Messenger go to (in Messenger) Help > About Messenger
