my computer is broken
and im am a messenger adict

and im using an old computer
the thing here is that i downloaded msn live and it couldnt run on my computer
so i tried downloading msn 7-5 (which was the previous one) and when i tried to log in, there was a message that said, you need to install the new version to continue

what can i do?

this originally had windows 98 but i installed windows xp

The version of MSN / WLM you install depends on what version of Windows you are running. For XP/Vista you should download and use WLM 8.5.
For Windows 98, 2000, and ME use MSN Messenger 7.0.0820. This version will also run on XP
