windows vista

its a new pc but i cant install the wlm because a window saing that interrupt the instalation.

i ll try to translate:

"the sistem directives doesnt allow this installation"

any help?

by the way it happens with all versions of wlm

Are you the admin?

One thing I had to do was download it to my desktop then right click run as admin and that worked for me

didnt knew that option exists

i hate vista

it works for 8.1 but the wl instaler freezes for 8.5

Yeah that option exsists in vista and can quite be useful

It also has the option for backwards compatibility so say like if a program is made for xp you can run it on vista (well I think this is the case with it but I havn't tryed it)

i tried another wl installer and i could  install everithing and its ok.

k here is the stand alone installer for the wlm 8.5 k should just download it and it should install fine i was talkin with someone on msn and they wanted to get 8.5 but the normal setup didnt go but that one did so here is the link had to upload it
