Based on a thread i made ages ago, i have finally come up with the funds to buy a new computer, here are the specs...

is that good enough for a decent computer? *-)

it's a pretty good price but if you could put a little more towards getting an 8800 i'd do it

the GTXs do maybe, but the GTs are pretty cheap...

What do you plan on using the computer for..?

If you want to play games on it pay a little more for a better graphics card.. The 3850 go for around $200-250 and perform very decent for that price.

Ok then, ive trimmed the price by around another 60 odd dollars to stick with the 2gig sticks that i already have *-)...

Also tell them you want free shipping and a few bucks off, so if its $874.50 AUD you say you want it for $850 with free postage. Most companys wouldn't refuse if you are going to be spending that much.

Ok i have updated the post, changed to E8200 intel card, Graphics card is definately a no go because of pricing, ram sticks removed as i have my own DDR1 2gig sticks, and downgraded to 120GB HDD.

That motherboard will not support DDR1. I would defiantly save a little more money if I was you.
