I decided not to encrypt my files when I first installed Plus, but today in the recent documents someone opened my chatlogs and those from my sister. Now I want to encrypt those old files, but I donīt know to after i put the password it seems that is only encrypting those from today and the rest is still the same.
How can I encrypt older conversation, a lot of files of them?
yeah I notice that
using the command line "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Log Viewer.exe" /encrypt="<full path to the log that needs encrypting>" /pwd="my password"
but that mean that I have to do it file by file
there isnt any other option?
Read on in that post, you will find bat files for decrypting and/or encrypting all logs in a folder and it's subfolders. Just download that, extract, place the one you need in the main log folder and run it from there
Edit: you're welcome
