Hi all, this is my first post ever in the forums.

Being an ex-Miranda IM user, and after accidentaly deleted it's installation (lot's and lot's of time customizing it to my taste), I've decided give WLM a real chance.

After a few minutes of searching for wlm tips, I came across Messenger plus. And let me say, I've never went back to Miranda, simply as that, Messeger plus is just very powerful, I really love the
events window and chat logs, they are superb.


Anyway, the purpose of this thread is just to say that the two things I miss Miranda the most, was the possibility of knowing precisely the status of contacts, independently of their block/unblock status, and the (and this was very important to me) to have both status message and listeningto info of my contacts at the same time, in the contact list.
I know that if you use the contact submenu "contact information" you can see their status message, when he/she is listening music, but that just isn't very practical.

Is there any possibility for Messenger plus, in the future, to display side by side or one over the other, listening to info and status messages?

Well, both info are available at once, within the PersonalMessage and CurrentMedia, so it's up to the user whether to mod his contact list to display both
But leave that to the skinners who eat XML as breakfast, normally you simply cannot show both at once.

Is there any skin wich does this already?

If not, I'll go through skinning documentation to see what I can do.

As far as i am aware there is no skin as of yet that gives you the option to do this. Good luck

Lol, skinning documentation is just too "big" for me.

Can someone make a skin that doesn't change nothing besides the display of status messages and listeningto info? like in this shopped image?
