Hi, folks!!

I've downloaded a script named StealContact from http://www.msgpluslive.it/scripts/view/27-Steal-Contact/

Sometimes, when I ask it to SAVE the display picture of contact I'm chatting with, the script saves an image file but it can't be open by any software...

does anybody know why?

Steal Contact 1.3 saves files as a .png image, I have tried the script and I can open it.

For us to locate the problem, you need to tell us what 'default' image opener program you have, Microsoft has it's own which is called 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer'.

It sounds like you have the 'default' image opener to something that cannot open the .png filetype.

Can you tell me what OS your on?

I use Windows Xp Sp2 and Office Picture Manager as image viewer...

sometimes, script saves a .png file but when I try to open it (as I usually do with every .png image, even with images properly saved by StealContact), it appears a warning by the image viewer or nothing is displayed..

Right, try and open the image in 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer'.

To do this right-click the file and go on 'open file with' and find 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer'.

I read: "Preview not available"
