hello friends i'm stuck in a problem...!
can anyone help me???
I want wenever a msg is sent to my friend list (wen he is online)gets an alert or something popup that i wanna talk to him...
i can get whether he is online or not... but i'm not getting how he is going to get an alert...
I'm using PHP and Javascript...
I can also use Ajax...
please please please please help me solving this prob....

You can't force an alert to come up on another persons computer(beyond the standard online, new mail, new message ones)

The way I see it, you can either a) make the script send him a message as soon as he signs in or b) use the Hopper Live script
