Well if your like me and you use more than one messenger at a time (polygamy patch or something) you may want to read on.

If your Windows Live Messenger automatically signing in on windows start-up that's no problem. However. If you open another windows live messenger when you have one already open it will automatically sign in and knock the other one offline. It can get annoying because if your not quick enough to click the cancel button it mess's up.

So would it be better for WLM to be blocked from auto sign-in if the contact that's away to be signed in is online?

Nope, some of us use it to test skins
There are scripts that can help you manage polygamy
or just disable auto-login

I shouldn't think it needs to be a feature of plus itself
