Hello,
my wife received a message from a good friend .
it said :

"hey, check this out : http://co0lstuff.info"

or something like that and it came from her good friend who wasn't even online !
so it was an instant message from somebody who wasn't online,
and when we asked her later she confirmed that she never sent a message !

This has happened twice now , once to my wife and a few days ago a good friend of ours received a message from my wife, even though she never sent it ?

Sounds like a website has stolen their password and sends messages advertising from their end... Tell your good friend to change their password

Most so called 'block checker' sites store users login info and use bots to sign in and send messages to all their contacts, I have a contact who had the problem and it's quite annoying, blocked her now.
