When I update my display name it does not update in the conversation windows (it is still the old one). When i go to talk to someone, my name has not updated; but it say's it has been in the default window.

Any idea's how to fix this?!

If you added yourself to your own list, remove the nickname from yourself if any, then delete yourself from your list. Then try to change your name and check your name in a new chat window.

Or you may be using StuffPlug or MessengerDiscovery which has a feature called "Chat-only name". See their options-settings.
