I was wondering if anyone had the same problem / could help me.

Ever since i ugpraded my MSN to 8.5.1302.1018, i've experienced lag everytime my conversations flash (the flash you get when someone messages you).

I currently use the tabbed conversation featuer that comes with Messenger Plus. It doesnt lag when i turn off tabbed conversations but when it is turned on, my whole comp lags everytime someone messages me and the taskbar at the bottom flashes.

Can anyone help?

My computer doesn't "lag" but it have noticed since 8.5 the first flash does "lag". It quicky flashes then the flash after that lags for 2 seconds then flash at a normal rate.

Do you mean your PC sticks for a few seconds then restores to normal?

i dunno what you mean by stick but each flash freezes my comp for the duration of the flash, its not only the first flash.

im pretty sure my comp is not the problem because i just bought this comp, quadcore, 4gig ram and all.

it gets pretty annoying
