i've been having major problems with battlefield 2 lately here's what happens

The game shutsdown when...

shutsdown when i press "start game" on single player after map loads

shutsdown when i press the audio button in options

and shutsdown when i click join game in multiplayer

Please tell me whats rong
i've been playing this game on this computer for about 10 months and nothings gone wrong but suddently its not working

when you reinstalled it did you uninstall it first?
are you using any mods or hax?
did you pay for your serial?
and do you have the latest patch?
have you recently installed any new software?

i always find repatching to be better than a re-install, it fixes all my problems, and is quicker.

also it could be a graphics problem  so have a go at reinstalling your graphics driver

ok nvm i uninstalled re installed the drivers and it still doesnt work

are you using vista?

nope, xp media centre edition, but does it work on vista?

i haven put it on my new visa laptop yet but i'm told it's a bit ¬¬
this is dodgy to the max
