O.P. [BUG?] I can not open my encrypted chat logs. They turned out to be blank
MSN version: Windows Live Messenger 8.5.1302.1018
Plus! Version: 4.60.0.326
I was just trying to check my chat log, after I input the password, the chat log windows opened as usual, but the box on the right (where logs show) was totally empty. I did the same yesterday and the log was still alright. No change or update of MSN or PLUS since last usage.
I checked several of my contacts, and I am sure there ARE logs (I was just chatting with some of them). I tried to open the log file(.ple) directly from explorer, and it was still blank.
The size of files seemed to be normal, so I guess the information is still there and it's just something wrong with Plus.
I tried to restart MSN and reinstalled Plus!. It doesn't help.
Please help me to solve this problem, for I really had some important information in the logs and Plus! is the ONLY way i use to save log. Thanks a lot.
