Up to you, but it's not worth making skins for WLM 9 as its only a beta.

Wait until its officially released.

Find the proper resource in the exported files (Vista: C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Resources of Messenger 9.0.1407.1107\Graphics\Pictures*; XP: C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\My Documents\Resources of Messenger 9.0.1407.1107\Graphics\Pictures*) and replace it using the SkinInfo file

* not sure...

But as Chris said, WLM 9 is still beta, so MS might change all resource numbers in 9.0 final

(and it sucks)
